Why do you need a chiffon scarf!
When packing your bag to travel for that next vacation or job-related trip, don’t forget to pack your favorite chiffon scarf. Not only is it light weight and takes up absolutely no room in your suit case, but it can be worn in so many different ways and with several outfits over the length of your trip. A chiffon scarf can also replace some heavier and bulkier accessories such as belts and jewelry; leaving more room and available weight for another pair or two of your favorite shoes!
When choosing which chiffon scarf to pack, consider the pieces of your wardrobe that you will be planning to take with you. Most travelers try to pack solid color basics that can be mixed and matched such as a black suit, dress, and maybe some jeans with a t-shirt or two. If this is the case, then a chiffon scarf or two in bold colors and patterns can be just what is needed to spice up an outfit and give it a completely different look without having to pack separate jewelry and belts for each outfit. Plus, if you’re like most travelers today and trying to spare the added expense of a checking in a bag, you can easily fit several scarves or wraps into a carry-on bag and not have to pay to bring it onto the airplane.
A chiffon scarf is very versatile no matter where your destination may be. A small square can easily be folded and tied around the neck in lieu of a necklace, or be used to accent a ponytail if you forgot to pack any hair accessories and want to hide an otherwise plain rubber band. You can also use it as a head band to keep hair out of your face, or worn as a kerchief if you usually sleep with curlers in your hair to save time getting ready in the mornings. Plus, a smaller, square chiffon scarf can be also wrapped around your wrist and worn as a bracelet.
If a longer chiffon scarf is what you choose to pack, then you have several more options to wear it as during your trip. It can still be worn as a head band with the extra length worn loose and down your back, or it can also be worn as a scarf hat. Tie your chiffon scarf loosely around your neck, and you have a great accessory to wear under suit or, jacket or even with a dress. If you need to spice up that pair of ordinary jeans, you can also thread the material through the belt loops instead of wearing a plain and ordinary belt.
