Trendsetters and fashion followers often have their own sense of style and how to make an outfit flow. But if you are a person who needs a little more help here are some easy tips for selecting the right scarf or scarves for you.
First, make sure the color or colors of the scarf complement you and the outfit. The majority of people who look through their closets will find that they have a few basic colors that they tend to like best. Ensure the colors of your accessory will go with these to make it the most versatile. The next consideration is the pattern selection. Again, look at the patterns in your closet and think of which patterns have brought you the most compliments. These are probably the ones best suited for your height and frame. But because it is a scarf you could experiment with some different sizes of patterns. Finally, do not limit yourself to just one scarf. Mix them up and take a fashion forward step by putting two or three different scarves together to make a bold statement.

Often we see this glamorous accessory wrapped around the head, neck, and chest area. There are many ways to wrap them in elegant and sophisticated ways. For simplicity we can take a look at some of the more common ways to wrap them.
Wear Your Scarf Around Your Head
This look puts color right around your face and can transform your bland outfit into an artsy one. To do this fold a square scarf into a triangle. Wrap the base of the triangle around your forehead with all the angles to the back. After making sure all your hair is tucked securely in, tie the two ends and tuck in the top angle under the knot.
Wear Your Scarf Around Your Neck
Whether you want a big splash of color or a little spot of it for an accent wearing your favorite scarf accessory around your neck is quick and easy. If a large splash of color is your desired look simply fold a square scarf into a triangle and tie behind your neck allowing the other angle to rest on your torso. You could also wrap the scarf in a way that resembles a winter style by tying it in a double or triple loop creating a turtle neck effect. Should you need a more conservative look with only a spot of color you may consider the more traditional ascot knot or bow tie.
